Higher One year after Pristina, in 1959 was
LartëAdministrative School opened in Pristina.

Agricultural High in Pristina. In the school year

- Philosophy Faculty in Pristina, with six
departments: Department of Albanian Language and Literature,
The Serbo-Croatian language and Yugoslav Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology. After a short time, in
1961/62 departments were established: Languages ​​and
Russian Literature and English Language and Literature.
In the academic year 1960/61 were recorded
97 students (60 Albanians, 32 Serbs
and 5 others) and 141 part.
Lectures were 7 teachers (2 Albanian
and Serb 5) and 7 associates (2 Albania
5 Serbs). 4 of them were PhD students
and 1 master.
A year later, in 1961, was founded in Pristina
Faculty of Law and Economics, with two
areas: legal and economic. In the first
586 students were enrolled: 185 in the
Legal (142 regular and 43 part-time) and 401 economically (120 regular
and 281 part). Of these, 323
Serbs, Albanians and 129 134 others.
